Brabantia will preview an amazing number of new products at Exclusively Housewares across several of its key product categories: waste control, kitchen storage, kitchen tools and gadgets, and laundry care.
Brabantia is adding yet another dimension to its range of waste disposal products for the kitchen and home - the Slide bin.
The Slide bin has a revolutionary new lid design that allows you to throw away waste with a simple
one-handed movement. The patented opening system means that the lid slides open with just a light push, while after use it simply closes automatically and silently.
The Slide bin is being introduced in a handy 5-litre size - perfect for the bathroom or toilet.
A new 45-litre capacity Sensor bin is also being introduced. This De luxe slimline design gives the body of the bin a slender silhouette while still providing a large capacity for efficient waste disposal. The new De luxe Sensor bin also has the added benefit of Brabantia’s matt steel finish with an innovative Fingerprint proof coating, which reduces fingerprints and other unsightly marks.
Brabantia’s revolutionary Sensor bin, with its electronic sensor activated lid, will be available in a stylish matt black finish to complement the design of even the most modern kitchen. With a solid matt black body and lid, the 50-litre capacity Sensor bin has a very futuristic look, combining state-of-the-art technology with classic Touch bin design.

The smart look of this new colour combination adds the finishing touch to any modern kitchen, while offering all the benefits of Brabantia’s best-selling Touch bin. Its hallmark features include ‘soft touch’ opening for easy and light operation, a unique hinge design, which means the lid opens silently, and a plastic protective base to prevent damage to the floor.

Brabantia has added its successful ‘soft touch’ opening technology to its new storage bin, which is ideal for keeping all kinds of breads and other breakfast items fresh. Brabantia is introducing a comprehensive new line-up of kitchen tools. Called the Essential line, this stylish new collection is perfect for the novice or ‘reluctant’ cook, first time homeowner, student, or for those kitting out a holiday home or caravan. With some 26 items offering great quality at a great price, there are kitchen tools for simple every day use through to some more specialist food preparation tasks.
Functional and attractive, each item features a sturdy plastic grip with a stainless steel hanging loop, so it’s durable, easy to clean and dishwasher safe. There is also a matching hanging rack for that efficient, well-organised look.
A new cheese slice has been added that is not only easy to operate, but also produces perfect slices time after time. Called the Easy cheese slice, this new kitchen tool works with both hard and soft cheeses. Brabantia is introducing two new contemporary and stylish cover designs to its ironing table collection - ‘Feathers’ and ‘Leaves’.
The new designs will be available on the brand’s wide collection of ironing tables, and also as replacement covers. Both designs are made from 100% cotton and available as replacement covers to fit a range of ironing table sizes including: 110 x 30 cm, 124 x 38 cm, 124 x 45 cm, 135 x 45 cm and 124 x 38 cm. A helpful colour code system is provided to ensure you select the correct size, while a choice of backing materials and thickness is also available: 2mm foam, 8mm foam and 4mm foam/4mm viscose.
Another eye-catching design, ‘Hot-Iron’, will also be available on the 124 x 38 cm table.
Brabantia has also come up with the idea of replaceable ironing table covers so you can have a fresh, clean cover whenever you need one, and to make them highly affordable come in economy packs of five.
Each ironing table cover is made from high-quality, heavy duty 100% cotton, and comes complete with the proven Brabantia ‘Stretch System’ to ensure it’s always taut, smooth and crease-free to give the very best ironing surface. Easy to fix in place, the cover is then kept in position with a cord binder and drawstring tightener.
Ideal for both normal and steam ironing, and available to fit any Brabantia ironing table, the economy covers are supplied in multi-packs which come with a colour code system so it’s easy to find the correct size cover for your ironing table.
A Brabantia rotary clothes drier is designed to stay out in all weathers. However, to help protect it from the elements and keep its lines clean and ready for the next load of washing, the simple thing is to fold it when not in use, and slip on an easy-fix cover.
