KAYABA ‘GEARS-UP’ FOR AUTOMECHANIKA
Automechanika, 17 - 22 September, Frankfurt
Hall 2, Stand C075
Kayaba is now an increasingly significant player in the European shock absorber and suspension component sector, and will have a major presence at this year’s Automechanika, the aftermarket industry’s premier show.
The KYB brand has grown significantly over the past few years, and the company will soon be making a number of important announcements regarding its future, the first of which will be made in Frankfurt.
These will involve new products, new markets and new people.
New products
Kayaba will be previewing two completely new shock absorber product lines.
AGX is an adjustable shock absorber for high performance/sports applications, and MonoMax is for off-road use (see note). These new introductions will extend the company’s shock absorber product types to six, which together with a number of associated products such as coil springs, protection kits and mounting kits, underpin Kayaba’s strategy to become the ‘suspension specialist’.
European expansion
Kayaba is aiming to rapidly grow its aftermarket business in a number of countries including Italy and Spain, as well as emerging markets in Eastern Europe such as the Czech Republic and Poland. Growth within the established markets of the UK, France and Germany has also been very encouraging, with further potential for KYB expansion.
