KAYABA EXPANDS PRODUCT OFFER WITH LAUNCH OF K-FORCE LOWERING KITS
K-Force lowers ride height and improves handling - ideal for car tuning and customising
Kayaba is expanding its product offer to the aftermarket and especially motor accessory retailers, with the launch of an all-new product line - KYB K-Force lowered spring kits.
Appealing particularly to young motoring ‘enthusiasts’ interested in modifying their cars, K-Force lowering kits are available for a wide range of vehicle applications, including BMW 3 series,
Citroën AX, Ford Fiesta and Escort, Peugeot 106, 205 and 206, Renault 5 and Clio, Vauxhall Corsa and Astra, and VW Golf. Models from various Japanese and Korean marques such as the Honda Civic, Hyundai S Coupe, Mazda MX5, Nissan Almera and Toyota MR2 are also covered.
Manufactured to original equipment (OE) standards, K-Force springs are designed to lower the vehicle by around 35 - 40mm. They can be fitted with the car’s existing shock absorbers providing they are in good working order, although Kayaba recommends its K-Force springs are used together with either its Excel-G or premium quality Ultra SR gas shocks.
As well as improving the aesthetic ‘look’ of a car - especially if fitted with alloy wheels and low profile tyres - K-Force springs give the driver a more sporty feel to his car by offering a firmer ride, reduced body roll and generally more dynamic handling characteristics.
K-Force is supplied in complete vehicle kits of four springs each (see note). The springs are finished in a durable, ‘high fashion’ purple colour, and packaged in full colour consumer packs for easy in-store merchandising and carry-home use.

1 K-Force lowering kits comprise two front springs for those cars fitted with torsion bar suspension. This applies particularly to French manufactured cars such as the Citroën AX and Saxo, Peugeot 106, 205, 206, 306 and 309, and Renault 5, 19 and Clio.
