NEW GENERAL MANAGER FOR KYB UK

Shock absorber and suspension component manufacturer KYB, has promoted Matthew Robinson to General Manager in the UK.

Matthew, 31, joined KYB in 2001 as a Business Manager for the North-West, Scotland and Northern Ireland and was later promoted to the role of sales manager.  He will now take overall responsibility for marketing, sales, customer service, operations and finance.

Matthew said: “I’m delighted to be able to develop my new role within such a dynamic company.  These are exciting times for KYB UK.  The company recently achieved the ADF supplier of the year award which resulted from of a lot of hard work by everyone, and I look forward to building on our successes.”

Commented Mr Hajime Sato, Managing Director of KYB Europe: “Over the past two years KYB UK has achieved strong sales under Matt’s leadership, including the establishment of a significant coil spring business, and the company has responded well to the challenges created by this sales growth”.

KYB UK is based in Warrington, and is one of five subsidiaries of KYB Europe GmbH.
