KYB INTRODUCES EUROPEAN COIL SPRINGS CATALOGUE FOR 2008

KYB has launched a new catalogue detailing its comprehensive range of replacement coil springs.

The user friendly catalogue has 560 new applications and follows extensive market analysis.  KYB’s range of K-Flex coil springs is designed to meet original equipment (OE) standards and uses taper wire technology, a design which is becoming increasingly popular with manufacturers and ensures each coil fits neatly inside the adjacent coil when compressed to avoid contact.

The OE specification means that KYB coil springs help restore the car’s ride height to the correct level, as designed by the manufacturer.  To ensure they meet block exemptions regulations, all coil springs are matching quality spare parts.  Additionally, to reduce time spent on returns the coil spring catalogue is designed to be read easily, meaning the correct spring is chosen and fits every time.

Key applications added for 2008 include the Audi TT and A8, BMW 1 Series, 3 Series E90 and 5 Series E60 and E61, Citroen C4, Ford Focus II, Peugeot 1007, Skoda Roomster, Toyota Auris and Prius and Volkswagen Fox.

As coil springs are a vital part of a vehicle’s suspension system, KYB recommends they are changed in pairs, where possible at the same time as shock absorbers.
