NAUTILUS SHOWS ITS STRENGTH AT FITNESS EXPO 2005

Nautilus - the world’s largest fitness company - will be showing its strength at Fitness Expo with its latest collection of home gym equipment - and the largest stand at the show.

With strength training key to any effective fitness programme, Nautilus will be displaying its new SelectTech dumbbell system, now its best-selling weight training product in the UK, together with the company’s free weight series for total strength training enthusiasts.

Retailing at only £299 and measuring just 40 x 20.5 x 23 cm in size, the innovative SelectTech dumbbell system provides all the benefits of 15 separate pairs of dumbbells in just one simple to use set - saving space and money.

Specially developed for home or mobile use, SelectTech’s user-friendly design means that anyone can use them, from a serious ‘fitness junkie’ to a total novice.   Just twist the dial to choose the weight you want to lift - from 2 to 21kg - and simply lift the weight out of the base.

For maximum safety, SelectTech’s patent-pending locking mechanism ensures that each user securely changes the weight on the handles, because it only works when the handle is fully inserted into the base - eliminating accidents with dropped plates and painful, bruised toes.

And, because SelectTech allows small weight increments of 1kg up to 10 kg, and 2kg up to 21kg, these dumbbells are ideal for anyone just beginning a strength-training programme and wanting to improve body tone, but also lose some of that excess flab.

The Nautilus free weights series encompasses weight stations, racks, benches and cages, which are all constructed with the same commercial-grade materials as the company’s commercial fitness products. Products on display will include the NT1600, NT1610 and NT1150.

Totally self-generating, the NE 3000 provides all-direction resistance without batteries or an external power cord and comes complete with 10 computer programmes and a fitness test, as well as a high definition display and heart rate monitor.   The NE 3000 can also be used in a light commercial environment.

Other products on show will include the Schwinn 825 folding treadmill for great space efficiency in the home, the Schwinn Windrigger, an advanced rowing machine complete with the effect of natural wind resistance and the Nautilus NB 3000 stationary bike which is ideal for home gyms, or up to light commercial usage.
