The Nautilus
TreadClimber combines two machines in one - twice the workout in half the time
Nautilus will be launching its
innovative new Commercial Series TreadClimber at LIW 2006 – the next
generation of cardio equipment.
The TreadClimber’s unique
dual-motion design combines the ease of walking with the cardiovascular workout
of running and stepping – to give members a more effective workout in minimal
time.
In fact, at the same speed and
intensity, no other commercial workout equipment burns calories as quickly or
efficiently as a TreadClimber TC916. In clinical tests at New York’s Adelphi
University, the Human Performance Laboratory discovered it took less than half
the time to burn the same number of calories when athletes used a TreadClimber
machine instead of a treadmill.
Using a TC916, members can
workout smarter, not harder, to achieve faster results within a shorter
exercise time by working more large muscles at once, making it ideal for
time-starved members.
Easy to use and learn, the
TreadClimber has two smaller treadmill-like devices called ‘Treadles’ instead
of one large treadbelt. The dual-action motion of the treadles couldn’t be
simpler to use as you experience the natural motion of walking, with the added
challenge of stepping. And, with just three programme buttons, the TreadClimber
is also simple to operate.
The TC916 provides a safe and effective
low-impact workout for all fitness levels, from beginner to the advanced
fitness enthusiast, as users can make dynamic changes to their workouts by
maximising or minimising treadle movement and varying speed up to 4 mph (6
kph). Six additional programmes are included to offer members a wide variety of
workouts.
Further features include an
integrated contact heart rate monitor so users can assess exercise intensity
and progress, together with a water bottle and reading rack for comfort.
And, not only is the TreadClimber
extremely space efficient, it also takes up less space than a traditional
treadmill, so you can fit more machines in the same space.
With its futuristic and
innovative design, the TreadClimber will create an impact in any club, enhance
the existing membership experience and help to attract new members looking to
try the very latest cardio equipment.
Like all Nautilus products, the
TreadClimber is low maintenance, biomechanically sound and has been rigorously
tested to the highest standards. For further information on the new Commercial
Series TreadClimber TC916, please contact Nautilus on Tel: 01908 267345, email:
