BURN CALORIES AND FAT TWICE AS FAST* – WITH THE NEW BOWFLEX TREADCLIMBER

The Bowflex TreadClimber 3-in-1 machine provides an ultra efficient, low impact workout – for fast and easy weight loss

Help burn calories and fat twice as fast* with the new BowflexÒ TreadClimberÒ from Nautilus - the world’s largest fitness company.

The Bowflex TreadClimber works by combining the best features from the three most effective aerobic workout machines - elliptical, stairclimber and treadmill - into one ultra efficient, low impact workout.

With a TreadClimber, you walk forward on moving belts like a treadmill, but you also step up like a stairclimber - combine these two actions and you get an intense workout with the smooth, low-impact motion of an elliptical.

The TreadClimber’s unique technology not only gives you the power to bring up your heart rate fast - and keep it there, but also to burn calories faster and more efficiently, work more muscle groups at the same time and minimise impact on the joints. In fact nothing else looks, feels or burns calories like the TreadClimber 3-in-1 fitness machine.

In clinical tests at New York’s Adelphi University, the Human Performance Laboratory discovered that it takes over twice as long to burn the same amount of calories on a treadmill than on a TreadClimber - at comparable speeds and intensity levels.

The Adelphi study found that using the same pace, you would actually have to workout on a treadmill for an hour and 17 minutes to burn the same number of calories as you would in just 30 minutes on a TreadClimber.

* Tests conducted by Adelphi University, New York.

A further series of tests conducted by professional athlete trainer, Dr Neil Wolkodoff, also found that after just four weeks, volunteers increased the number of calories burned by 17 per cent, while endurance levels jumped by an average of 23 per cent. Using the TreadClimber just 30 minutes a day, 3 days a week also reduced body fat on the volunteers by as much as 15lbs in 30 days.

With a TreadClimber, you can workout smarter, not harder, to achieve faster results within a shorter exercise time. And, because users feel that the workout is easy, the recommended workout time of 30 minutes, three times a week is easier to achieve, while electronic functions also monitor every step of your workout including speed, time, distance, calories burned, calories-per-minute and total steps.

Two Bowflex TreadClimber models are now available to UK consumers - the TC 3000 and TC 5000. Both models provide 12 intensity settings to tailor your workout to your fitness and comfort level - from beginner to professional athlete - and speed adjustments from 1.1 to 6.4 km - from a gentle stroll to power-walking.

The TC 5000 also comes with an integrated wireless heart rate monitor so you can check every vital aspect of your workout and stay within your optimal fat-burning zone, while a climb indicator displays every 100 feet of elevation gain.

A TreadClimber is an effective solution for anyone who is ‘turned off’ or intimidated by health and fitness clubs as it provides a quality, results-orientated workout in the comfort of their home.

The Bowflex TreadClimber TC 3000 and TC 5000 models have a RRP of £1,399 and £1,599 respectively. For details of your nearest stockist, please contact Nautilus on
