BRIGHT SMILES AT RICHMOND'S SUMMER PARTY
Residents of Richmond retirement village in Nantwich enjoyed their annual Summer party recently and, although the sun didn't shine much, residents' faces lit up during the evening of entertainment laid on for them by staff.
Throughout the evening residents enjoyed bingo, a raffle, live music and the highlight of the evening, an hour of mystery and magic in the form of a classic close-up magic show by Peter Turner, alias Mister Ree, who performed illusions, coin magic and card tricks.
Events co-ordinator at the retirement village, Janet Wainwright, said: “Our Summer party is an event eagerly awaited by all of the residents. Despite the lack of sun, there were plenty of bright smiles and a great party atmosphere!”
Situated on the edge of Nantwich, the retirement village offers a range of retirement homes including luxury village apartments, serviced apartments and care bedrooms, providing residents with different levels of independence to suit all needs. Tudor style properties are built around its own bowling green and courtyard, and with its award-winning landscaped gardens, the environment offers peace, security and a sense of community to residents, combined with superb facilities which include a restaurant, shop and hair and beauty salon.
