To be held on Saturday 26 September, 10am - 4pm, at the sales & marketing suite, Richmond Aston-on-Trent, Willow Park Way, Aston-on-Trent, Derbyshire DE72 2DF, the event is designed to provide information to those who would like to learn more about the development. 

There will be the chance to view the site, find out what accommodation is available, view the floor plans and computer generated images of the retirement village, and generally get a good insight into the lifestyle available.

“We want to give people a real flavour for what living at a Richmond village is like, and ensure they get the information they need on all aspects of Richmond retirement living,” says Paddy Brice, managing director. “Construction is already progressing well and we are on schedule to welcome the first residents in the autumn of 2016, but we have already sold 55% of the Village apartments off plan.”

Village apartments start from £275,000 and include one or two bedrooms with the master bedroom en suite, a modern kitchen with integrated appliances, a bathroom / wet room featuring stylish sanitary ware, an allocated parking space for those with a car, an emergency 24-hour call system to the on-site support team, and wellness spa membership.

The new £30million retirement village at Aston-on-Trent is located at Willow Park Way on the site of the former hospital, and will comprise a care home providing 24-hour nursing and dementia support, village apartments for independent living and village suites for assisted living.  It will also provide a wellness spa with swimming pool and gym, hair and beauty salon, a library, IT room, terrace café, garden bar and restaurant, all set within beautifully landscaped grounds with a croquet lawn.  Activities, events and a village transport service will also be provided.

Richmond Aston-on-Trent is the company’s seventh retirement village, and once completed will provide 125 homes for those over 55, and 60 care home beds providing 24-hour support.

Village suites will start at £185,000 and village apartments from £275,000.
