To be held on Saturday 23 April, 10am - 4pm at the new village - Richmond Aston-on-Trent, Willow Park Way, Aston-on-Trent, Derbyshire DE72 2DF - the event is designed to give a real insight into what living at the village could be like.

There will be the chance to view the new show apartment, meet Alison Harding, the senior village advisor and her team, find out what accommodation is available, look at the floor plans and computer generated images of the retirement village, and generally get a good insight into the lifestyle available.

“We want to give people a real flavour for what living at a Richmond village is like, and ensure they get the information they need on all aspects of Richmond retirement living,” says Paddy Brice, managing director of Richmond Villages.  “Construction is progressing well and we are on schedule to welcome the first residents in the autumn of 2016.  We are delighted with the interest shown in this development and with 80% of the Village apartments already sold off plan, demonstrates the demand for this type of high quality retirement accommodation.  The main Village centre building which includes the Village suites and care home plus all the communal facilities such as restaurant, bar and wellness spa will be completed by Spring 2017.”

“These properties are ideal for those who want to live independently yet like the idea of being in a safe and sociable community with care and assistance close at hand if required.  We listened carefully to what our clients wanted which included having a large living space and up to two large bedrooms, especially important if someone is downsizing,” added Mr Brice.

Village apartments start from £280,000 and include one or two bedrooms with the master bedroom en-suite, a fully fitted kitchen with integrated appliances, a bathroom / wet room featuring stylish sanitary ware, an allocated parking space for those with a car, an emergency 24-hour call system to the on-site support team, and wellness spa membership.

Richmond Villages also offers its own domiciliary care team who are on-site 24-hours a day to provide tailored care to residents, while a care home at the heart of the village provides the reassurance of nursing and dementia care.
