Commented David Westerby, village manager of Richmond Witney, “We were astonished by the number of people who turned up for the recruitment fair, and hugely encouraged to see so many showing an interest and wanting to be part of this new retirement community.

“Richmond Witney will be a great place to live and work, and we much look forward to having the right people joining the team, and getting everyone fully trained and ready to deliver the level of service we expect to offer our new residents.”

Once fully operational the village will employ some 150 people, with a mix of full and part-time positions in care, hospitality, housekeeping, administration, maintenance and gardens, as well as drivers, and fitness instructors and beauticians to work in the wellness spa.

Opening in the summer of 2016, Richmond Witney will offer a great choice of retirement accommodation within a safe, sociable and supportive environment.
