Being held on Saturday 4th February, 10am - 4pm at the new village - Richmond Witney, Coral Springs Way, Witney, Oxfordshire OX28 5DG - the event is designed to give a real insight into what stress-free living at the village could be like.

Champagne and refreshments will be available throughout the day.

There will be the opportunity to view the new Village suites, meet David Westerby, the village manager and his team, find out what accommodation is available and view the facilities including the wellness spa and pool, and generally get a good insight into the lifestyle available.  There will also be escorted tours of the care home for those who are looking for 24-hour nursing and dementia care.

“We are immensely proud of what we have achieved at Richmond Witney and I am confident it will become the benchmark for retirement villages in the UK,” says Paddy Brice, managing director of Richmond Villages.

“We want to give people a real flavour for what living at this all new Richmond village is like, and ensure they get the information they need on all aspects of Richmond retirement living. Whether thinking of moving to one of the Village suites and interested in finding out about the fantastic social community that is developing here, or searching for an exceptional care home for a loved one, we look forward to welcoming you.”

Village suites start from £235,000 and include a bedroom with en-suite shower room, sitting room and a fully fitted kitchenette. Village suites provide assisted living for those who wish to retain their independence but require some assistance with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning and laundry, and come with an emergency 24-hour call system to the on-site care team, plus wellness spa membership.

“These properties are ideal for those who like the idea of being in a safe and sociable community with care and assistance close at hand if required.  There will also be the opportunity to view the remaining few Village apartments which provide a more independent lifestyle.  We listened carefully to what our clients wanted in these properties hence these one and two bedroom retirement apartments provide large living space with unrivalled facilities,” added Mr Brice.  Village apartments start from £335,000 for a one bedroom apartment and £415,000 for a two-bedroom.

Richmond Villages also offers its own domiciliary care team who are on-site 24-hours a day to provide tailored care to residents, while a state-of-the-art care home at the heart of the village provides the reassurance of nursing and dementia care.

The new £35 million Richmond Witney village features all the facilities that have made the other Richmond villages so popular, including a wellness spa with swimming pool and gym, hair and beauty salon, a library, IT room, terrace café, quality restaurant and garden bar, and all set within beautifully landscaped grounds with a bowling green, croquet lawn and nature reserve beyond.  Activities, events and a village transport service are also provided.

Large one and two bedroom Village apartments provide an independent lifestyle while Village suites offer assisted living for those who wish to retain their independence but require some assistance with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning and laundry.
