Grange Park Schoolchildren Bring Christmas Cheer To Richmond Northampton

Children from Woodland View primary school in Grange Park spread some Christmas cheer at the recently opened Richmond Northampton retirement village and performed a carol concert for the residents.

Twenty-five children aged nine to 11 years entertained around 25 residents and parents with all the festive classics including Silent Night, Oh Little Town of Bethlehem and Oh Come All Ye Faithful.  The choir was accompanied by two children, one playing the violin and one playing the piano.

Katy McGaw, activities organiser at Richmond Northampton said “It was lovely to have the children come along, they put on a great show and everyone here really enjoyed themselves.  Many of our residents have recently moved in to the village, so the carol concert was a great way to get everyone together and into the festive spirit.”
