Truckman – case study
Background
Truckman employed LawsonClarke PR to assist with the launch of its new
range of hardtops, tonneau covers and loadliners for the new Nissan
Navara.
The Challenge
Competing against Nissan’s own brand hardtops and other manufacturers,
Truckman had to successfully launch its products to ensure that both
the trade and customers were aware of its high quality alternative offering.
The Solution
With a limited budget LawsonClarke PR researched all the relevant trade
and consumer publications and wrote a launch press release for each
sector. Good photography was recognised as key to ensuring success
and a location shoot was organised to show the products ‘in
situ’.
Background information on Truckman itself was also sent
to key publications interested in a
larger ‘feature’ style piece about the company itself.
The Results
Positive press coverage appeared across all media sectors including local,
regional, trade and vertical sector publications such as: Fleet Week,
Motor Industry Magazine, Van User, What Van?, Electrical Contracting
News and Gloucestershire Echo.
